BALI, INDONESIA (NBC) - A drunk passenger caused a hijacking scare on a Virgin Australia flight Friday.
The Boeing 777 was carrying 139 passengers and six crew members from Brisbane, Australia, to Indonesia's resort island of Bali.
Officials said an Australian passenger was acting aggressively and was pounding on the cockpit door.
The passenger was arrested after the plane landed safely in Bali.
The airport was closed for nearly two hours due to the incident.
