BELGIUM (NBC) - Police in a Belgian town have found a cheap way to get drivers to slow down.

For the last three months, they've made cardboard cutouts of their police officers and set them up along streets where drivers run a little too fast.

One driver said the cutouts have made her slow down.

A police spokesperson said traffic accidents and injuries are down by 6 percent over the three months the cutouts have been used.
