The head of Australia's Olympic team said a backup plan is needed if Brazil isn't ready for South America's first Olympic games.

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA (NBC) - More people are expressing their concerns over the lack of progress in Brazil's preparations for the 2016 Olympic games.

On Wednesday, the head of Australia's Olympic team said a backup plan is needed if Brazil isn't ready for South America's first Olympic games.

Just Tuesday, IOC vice president John Coates said Brazil's preparations were "the worst" he had ever seen and critically behind schedule.
