PRETORIA, SOUTH AFRICA (NBC) - One of Oscar Pistorius' neighbors testified he heard a man crying loudly on the night of Reeva Steenkamp's death.
The man who lives next to the house where Pistorius shot and killed his girlfriend was summoned by Pistorius' defense team.
He told the court his wife woke him up after hearing a bang but said he did not hear gunshots.
He then said he heard a man crying in a high-pitched voice that indicated he urgently needed help.
The neighbor's bedroom window is located about 80-feet from the balcony doors of Pistorius' bedroom.
That's closer than neighbors called by the prosecution who said they heard a woman screaming on the night of the shooting.
