The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their son Prince George head home from their tour of Australia and New Zealand.

Prince William and Catherine ended their visit to Australia by commemorating Anzac Day in Canberra.

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA (NBC) - The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their son Prince George headed home from their tour of Australia and New Zealand.

Prince William and Catherine ended their visit to Australia by commemorating Anzac Day in Canberra.

Later, they bid farewell to Australia's Prime Minister and other officials at Canberra Airport and boarded an Australian Air Force plane.

The Duchess of Cambridge carried Prince George as they got on the plane.

The Anzac Day National Service, which marked the 99th anniversary of the allied troop landing on Turkey's Gallipoli Peninsula, was the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's last official event in Australia.

They left for home from Canberra via Sydney airport.
