PRAIA DA LUZ, PORTUGAL (NBC) - Investigators continued to search an area near a Portuguese resort where Madeleine McCann went missing seven years ago.
Sniffer dogs brought to Portugal from the UK were part of the search.
It's taking place a few blocks away from the apartment from where McCann disappeared while she was on vacation with her parents.
The current search is the result of a request by Scotland yard to Portuguese police.
British police launched a review of the case in 2011, after McCann's parents wrote to Prime Minister David Cameron to say not enough was being done to find their daughter.
