MOGADISHU, Somalia (AP) - Somali government troops fighting alongside African Union troops have ousted Islamic militants from a town they have been controlling. That's according to the governor of the region, who says the al-Shabab stronghold was seized from militants after hours of battle. Military officials say the al-Qaida-linked militants used the town as a base to stage deadly attacks across Somalia.
