The U.S. military conducted nine airstrikes in northern Iraq yesterday against ISIS targets near Mosul Dam.
The strikes were aimed at helping Iraqi and Kurdish fighters regain control of the facility from extremist fighters.
U.S. Central Command today released video of two of yesterday's strikes.
The first is said to be against an armed truck belonging to ISIS militants, the second is against one of the group's Humvees.
The U.S. military says it conducted 14 more strikes on targets near the dam overnight.
An Iraqi security official said today that Kurdish forces have recaptured parts of the facility.
The Mosul Dam was captured by ISIS on August seventh. It was feared the insurgents could use it to flood areas downstream.
