SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS (WOAI) - A Brazilian woman broke down sobbing during a radio show interview this week when she learned she'd unwittingly married her own brother.

The woman, identified only as Adriana, went on the show to reconnect with her long-lost mother who had abandoned her when she was one-year-old.

It was then that she learned that her mother had also given up a baby boy named Leandro, just like Adriana's husband and that they had the same last name.

The couple has a six-year-old daughter. By the time the brother and sister met, they'd each spent years looking for their birth mother without knowing it was the same woman.

Leando and Adriana said despite what anyone may think, they've decided to stay together.
