Dustdevils Split in Home Opener

TAMIU would get out of numerous jams to start their first game with Oklahoma Panhandle State Friday, then turn on the offense to dominate the Aggies. Starting pitcher Kyndal Reeves would help herself out at the plate, getting the scoring started with a 3-run homer in the 3rd. From there TAMIU played add on softball as the Dustdevils ended game one in only five innings thanks to an 11-0 finish. Game two wouldn't go nearly as well though, as the Aggies double up TAMIU winning 4-2. The rubber-match of the series will be Saturday at Noon.
