St. Augustine's Juan Martinez signs his National Letter of Intent for TAMIU Monday morning as family and friends looked on.
While those teams are still focusing on their playoff futures, a few others took time out today to sign Letters of Intent for the college level. One of those is St Augustines Juan Gerardo Martinez who will be moving on to TAMIU this fall. The Knights top pitcher was flanked by his parents this morning as he became the newest Dustdevil. Martinez is excited for his future at TAMIU, especially since he'll be able to pitching and not have to worry about hitting or fielding.
Martinez plans on studying petroleum engineering while playing for head coach Chad Porter and the Dustdevil baseball team.
