It was another big day for Laredo Community College athletics and their volleyball team as a 5th member of this years squad is off to a four year school. Alexis Villa took center stage this afternoon signing her National Letter of Intent to play at Stetson University. She did so with her mom and family looking on via facetime from her hometown in Hawaii. The two time all region academic performer was instrumental in the palominos success especially in a season with highs and lows like the team went through in 2013. Villa now heads for division one Stetson University in Florida to continue playing volleyball and working towards a degree in nursing.
