It was a big afternoon for one Palomino baseball player who saw a life long goal come true. Lee May Gonzalez put his name on the dotted line to play for Texas A&M baseball starting next fall. After a stellar career at Calallen high school, where Gonzalez led the state in strikeouts and wins, he chose to attend LCC to continue sharpening his game in hopes of signing with the Aggies. After excelling in green and gold this past season Gonzalez got that chance.
The Palomino shortstop not only did well on the field but will transfer to A&M with a grade point average over 3.0.
