It was a big day for a pair of United High School seniors as they are on to play soccer at the collegiate level. Ana Jeronimo and Esmeralda Villarreal signed their national letters of intent this afternoon to continue their futbol careers. Both signed on to play for TAMIU, saying being able to stay so close to family and friends was a big determining factor in playing for the Dustdevils.
Both will be enrolled into TAMIU and playing soccer this fall. Jeronimo is planning to study education and wants to become a teacher while Villarreal plans to study criminal justice.
