TAMIU students vote yes on Referendum funding athletics

A Referendum funding Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) Athletics has passed 54% to 46% in an online vote held April 7th - 9th.

The Referendum was focused on funding the University’s Dustdevil Athletics program.

LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - A Referendum funding Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) Athletics has passed 54% to 46% in an online vote held April 7th - 9th.

The Referendum was focused on funding the University’s Dustdevil Athletics program. Student Government Association members noted that winning Dustdevil Athletics teams elevate the University’s profile and help secure its place among the State’s top universities.
