Bulldogs Anxious for 2014 Season

Posted: 04/18/2014 - Alexander looks for yet another run deep into the UIL playoffs in 2014. For the fifth year in a row the Bulldogs will open the season against the Alice Coyotes before a pair all Laredo match ups with Martin and Nixon.

LBJ Hoping for Bounce Back Season

Posted: 04/18/2014 - The Wolves struggled through a win-less district season in 2013 but will look to put those loses behind them with a good chunk of the roster back and another year of experience under their belts.

Panthers Fight but Not Enough to Best Bulldogs

Posted: 04/17/2014 - It was a battle of best versus worst in district 29-5A baseball Thursday night, but the gap on the field was much less than in the standings on paper. United South fought for seven innings, going toe-to-toe with state ranked Alexander, but a four run 2nd inning would prove to be too much to overcome as the Bulldogs win 5-1 Thursday at the SAC.

Mustangs Keep Hope Alive

Posted: 04/17/2014 - It wasn't exactly easy but Nixon baseball remained alive in their quest for the postseason Thursday afternoon. The final score wasn't indicative of the game on the diamond, as the Mustangs blew the game open late on their way to a 12-2 win.

Bi-District Softball Round Set

Posted: 04/16/2014 - The high school softball regular season came to an end Tuesday night and only a pair of teams survived and will advance to the postseason. With a win over United South, the LBJ Wolves were able to guarantee themselves the #2 spot in district 29-5A and a match up with Edinburg in the Bi-District round. United on the other hand finished in the #3 spot and will take on Sharyland.

Tigers and Mustangs Still in Playoff Hunt

Posted: 04/16/2014 - Over in district 31-4A, a pair of Laredo teams are currently on the outside looking in on the playoffs but are still in the hunt with a pair of games left. Both Martin and Nixon picked up wins Tuesday night keeping their postseason hopes alive.
