The Bruni Badgers have found their new head coach and athletic director for next season.
His name is Kyle Freeman and he comes from Hebbronville.
Freeman was an assistant coach and defensive coordinator for the Longhorns last year. Before that, he spent eleven years as the defensive coordinator for Snyder high school in west Texas. Freeman will take over the successful Bruni football program.
The Badgers are coming off quite a successful season. They went undefeated in district play and went to the area round of the playoffs where they lost to Milano.
The Badgers will be in a new district this season that includes the tough Woodsboro. Freeman said he is a former NFL player, drafted by the Oilers back in 1991.
