The offense came a little late on Tuesday for Alexander as they faced off with UISD foe LBJ. With the game scoreless in the fourth the Bulldogs picked up a run off a single up the middle from Damien Rodriugez. Two innings later Rudy Gaona would hit a blast over the left field fence making the score 4-0. That was more than enough for starting pitcher Pablo Ortiz, who locked up the Wolves bats, allowing only three hits while tossing a complete game shutout. With the victory Alexander sews up the #1 seed out of the district and at worst a co-district championship.
