Fall Football Practices Kick Off

It was a big morning for a number of high school athletes as today officially kicked off the fall season with football practices across the city.

Many schools across the city opened up their practice Monday morning.

It was a big morning for a number of high school athletes as today officially kicked off the fall season with football practices across the city. In all five different schools slapped on the their helmets and tried to beat the heat with early morning practices. Cigarroa, LBJ, Martin, Zapata and Bruni all hit the field this morning. Players could be seen running through drills and learning the fundamentals of the game. Kids are not allowed to go in full pads until they have completed five complete practices. The schools that participated in spring football will not start practicing until next Monday when the whole area will be in full football mode.
