LISD Coaches Join in the ALS Fight

It continues to be an internet sensation as people dump ice water on their heads and donate money to raise awareness for ALS, today four of the Laredo ISD coaches took part.

All three LISD head football coaches take part in the "ALS Ice Bucket Challenge" Thursday afternoon.

It continues to be an internet sensation as people dump ice water on their heads and donate money to raise awareness for ALS, today four of the Laredo ISD coaches took part. That was Cigarroa's Jesse Esparza, Martins David Charles and Nixon’s Tommy Ramirez along with assistant athletic director Arleen Avrill getting in the act this afternoon at Shirley Field accepting the challenge from United’s coach David Sanchez. LISD is donating to the local ALS group here in Laredo. According to ALS.org, the “Ice Bucket Challenge” has raised almost 42 million dollars since the end of July.
