Martin Boys Fall in OT, United Girls Prevail

There were a pair of overtime games in the UIL soccer playoffs Friday night involving Laredo teams, with one coming out on top while the other fell.

There were a pair of overtime games in the UIL soccer playoffs Friday night involving Laredo teams, with one coming out on top while the other fell. The Martin boys played through a pair of overtimes giving up only a single goal, but couldn't find the scoreboard themselves, falling 1-0 to SA Harlandale.

Meanwhile in girls action the Longhorns were blanked for most of regulation but come up with the equalizer late in regulation. The game would go to penalty kicks and the United girls come up with a 5-3 advantage, moving on in the playoffs.
