It's another day of hard work for some high school football teams. The Martin Tigers were at it bright and early in the morning.
The Tiger football team has lost some key some players this year. Coaches are looking for guys to step up during practices for some key rolls, including full back, receivers and quarterback. Coach David Charles said they are working on a new offensive strategy. You can expect to see more passes for the Tigers this year.
“Today was our first day of pads. The kids are a little bit eager to get out here, working a lot on just the basics, the form, the technique and the conditioning part, just to get us ready to make sure we keep on getting better.”
KGNS will be holding a special Friday Football Fever preview show this year. You can catch on Friday, August 22nd at 10 p.m.
