While the Lemurs season is getting started, the Martin Tigers are into the UIL Region IV semifinals for the first time since the year 2000. Not much was expected of this year Tigers, but playing the under dog role has fit them just fine. Now as the Tigers are the only team left from district 30-4A, they will continue to play the same baseball that has gotten them here no matter who the opponent may be.

The Tigers will take on Victoria East in a best of three series beginning tomorrow night with game one at 7:30. Game two and if necessary game three will be Saturday at noon. All games will be played at San Antonio's Tejada Park.
