The Martin Tigers enter the playoffs on Thursday riding a four game winning streak in must win situations.

For the first time since 2007, the Martin Tigers find themselves in the baseball playoffs riding a four game winning streak. Following a loss to Moody, the Tigers realized they had their backs to the wall, needing to win their final three games of the season to have a realistic shot at the playoffs and that's just what they did. Those victories left Martin and Alice tied for the 4th and final spot but the Tigers continued their hot pitching and timely hitting picking up a two nothing win over the Coyotes in a one game playoff. Now as they prepare for Missions Veterans High, They are loose and ready to play.

Martin and Missions Veterans will square off in a three game series starting tomorrow in the Valley. Game two and if necessary game three will be here at Veterans Field on Saturday starting at 3 pm.
