Toro's make history with first ever boys run to the 4th round of UIL playoffs.

Friday night saw history made as the Cigarroa boys soccer team won in double overtime moving them to the 4th round tomorrow night. That victory marked the first time any boys team had cracked the fourth round barrier in any sport in the history of the school. They join Nixon in the regional quarterfinals tomorrow and while the Toros are excited for their own success they say having a pair of schools this deep in the playoffs is just as big. Cigarroa will take on PSJA-SW tomorrow at Corpus Christi's Cabaniss field with kickoff scheduled for 6 pm.
