In day two of the Border Olympics, one of the marquee match-ups took place at Uni-Trade Stadium between defending champion United and state ranked Corpus Christi Carroll. This one would be a pitchers duel over the first few innings, with the Tigers stranding runners in scoring position multiple times. Carroll broke through in the 3rd with an RBI single taking a 1-0 lead. They would hold that lead into the 4th when the Tigers burst through with seven runs taking a commanding 8-0 lead that would be the final.
