With a win over United South, the LBJ Wolves were able to guarantee themselves the #2 spot in district 29-5A and a match up with Edinburg in the Bi-District round. United on the other hand finished in the #3 spot and will take on Sharyland.

Posted: 04/11/2014 - The Alexander girls wasted no time getting on the scoreboard Friday night with a run in the top of the 1st inning against LBJ. The Bulldogs loaded the bases with only one out later in the 1st but a rare double play got the Wolves out of the inning without any more damage done. LBJ would strike back with three of their own in the bottom of the frame on their way to an 18-3 rout of the Bulldogs.

Updated: 04/09/2014 - After United took a quick 2-0 lead LBJ battled back with a run in their half of the 2nd. That's all the offense the Wolves could muster though as United took back control with two in the 3rd on their way to a 6-1 victory. With the win United keeps pace at the top of the 29-5A standings with Alexander who beat Del Rio Tuesday night.
