The Lemurs used a late inning rally to push across the winning run in the 9th to beat Sioux Falls 5-4 Wednesday night.
Wednesday brought another night of the ball flying out of the park in Sioux Falls but it was a manufactured run in 9th that gave Laredo a 5-4 win over the Canaries. The two teams combined for five round trippers in the first 3 1/2 innings, as it looked to be another slug-fest. The pitchers settled down as the Lemurs and Canaries remained tied at four into the top of the 9th. Laredo used three singles and a timely Sioux Falls error to produce the go ahead and eventual winning run.
