Lemurs Dominate in Series Finale

Laredo finished their opening home stand with a crushing 18-5 victory over Winnipeg taking two of three from the Goldeyes.

The Lemurs dominate Winnipeg in their series finale, winning 18-5 on Wednesday afternoon.

After a slow start for the offense, the Lemur bats exploded in the 3rd inning sending a total 14 players to the plate, scoring nine runs on ten hits in the frame. That would be more than enough offense but the home team continued to add to their total, finishing the game with an 18-5 victory. All nine starters had at least one hit, while seven of the nine score two or more runs. The team now takes off for their first road trip of the season with four game series in Grand Prairie and Wichita before returning home.
