Lemurs Drop 3rd Straight to Wichita

The Lemurs drop their 3rd straight to Wichita Wednesday night, losing 2-1.

In Wichita tonight another rough night for the Lemur bats as they fall to the Wingnuts 2-1. Laredo is held to only five hits on the night scoring their only run thanks to a sacrifice fly in the 4th inning. Starting pitcher Tyler Pearson was solid once again throwing six and two thirds of an inning, giving up the two runs while only allowing five hits himself. Wichita pushed a pair of runs across the plate in the 7th and that would be all the scoring for either team. The Lemurs will now look to avoid the four game sweep tomorrow night before returning home for a series this weekend at Unitrade Stadium.
