Lemurs Struggles Continue in Wichita

Laredo gets swept out of a four game series with Wichita falling 11-2 Thursday night.

Laredo falls for the 4th straight game as they are swept by Wichita losing 11-2 Thursday.

The Lemurs series in Wichita started as a battle of the top two teams in the American Associations South division but was ending tonight with Laredo hoping to salvage one of the four games in the land of Oz. It didn't end well for the Lemurs as they fall 11-2 Thursday night. Taking a one nothing lead into the bottom of the first, Laredo starter Sean Tracey would get roughed up for six runs putting the Lemurs down big early. It was a deceit they could never climb back out of as all nine Wingnuts starters get at least one hit and eight of the nine score at least one run. The Lemurs will be back at home tomorrow night starting a six game home stand.
