Jeremy Strawn wasn't on the Lemurs opening day roster but has not only been one of the best pitchers for Laredo but in the entire American Association as well. Strawn added to his list of accomplishments by being named the league’s “Pitcher of the Week” after shutting down Grand Prairie for his second start in a row. The right hander tossed a complete game shutout striking out nine Air Hogs in the process as he improved to eight and oh on the season. Over his last two starts Strawn has thrown 16 innings without allowing an earned run in a pair of wins over Grand Prairie. The season has been a great one for Strawn who is now 8-0 with a 2.57 ERA while the lemurs are undefeated in his starts with a 10-0 record.
