Sunshine in my pocket

LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - After a rainy and gloomy week, the sun will come out giving us a warm winter weekend!

On Friday we’ll start out in the upper 50s and see a high of about 80 degrees by the afternoon.

Things will warm up as we continue into the weekend; however, we will drop a little on Saturday to the mid-70s.

We’ll also see a 20 percent chance of rain, but that will blow over on Sunday.

Expect a sunny and warm day at 85 degrees on Sunday with some partly cloudy skies but overall it’s going to make for a perfect day.

As we start next week, temperatures will remain cool and comfortable in the 70s.

On Monday we’ll see a high of 76 and a high of 78 on Tuesday.

By midweek we will drop to the low 70s with lows in the 40s and 50s.

Overall, we aren’t expecting any severe winter weather conditions.

I think it’s safe to say that we aren’t having much of a winter this year.
