LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Much drier air has raced into our area from western Texas and northern Mexico. Dewpoints which were at 70F at dawn lowered to under 20F in the afternoon. Based on temperatures in the upper 80′s, those dewpoints represented relative humidity values of about 8%. Cooler, dry air is now filtering in from the Great Plains. This will be our main weather control through Saturday with sunny mild afternoons, and cool nights. Southerly winds will return Sunday afternoon with more humid air, warmer nights, and some morning clouds.

I’m expecting clear and cooler tonight, lighter wind, low near 50. Mostly sunny Thursday through Saturday, high in the high 70′s to around 80. Partly cloudy Sunday through Wednesday, high in the 80′s.
