LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - In it’s 83 years of existence, the Society of Martha Washington had to cancel its annual pageant and ball last year due to COVID-19.

But more than a year later, the society is ready to announce this year’s George and Martha Washington and unveil their costumes.

Media day was held earlier today and Irma De La Miyar Deutsch as Martha and Doctor Joe Castellano as George showcased their magnificent attire.

The colonial pageant and ball will introduce 19 debutantes, and will take place at the Sames Auto Arena on July 3rd.
