LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Officials in Nuevo Laredo say 14 people have drowned in the Rio Grande.

They say the numbers include people who swim in the river recreationally as well as migrants trying to enter the U.S.

This is prompting officials to warn the community about the dangers that come from going into the river.
