LAREDO, TX. (KGNS) - After days of praying for the rain, we finally got some thunderstorms in south Texas Wednesday night.

On Thursday morning we will start off rather wet and muggy near the low 80s and see a high about 94 degrees.

Those chances of rain could make a comeback by Friday, where we’ll see a high of 94 degrees and lows in the 60s.

This cool front will bring out temperatures down to the upper 50s during the evening hours and highs of 77 in the afternoon hours on Saturday and Sunday.

Temperatures will start to pick up on Monday in the mid-80s and by Tuesday we’re back to the 90s.

Enjoy that brief cold front while it lasts.
