Windy Wednesday weather

LAREDO, TX. (KGNS) - Women in Laredo will be celebrating International Women’s Day with warm and windy conditions.

On Tuesday evening, some strong winds starting to pick up in the Laredo- South Texas area.

Temperatures did drop down in the 60s, making for a pleasant Wednesday morning.

Of course we are going to warm up to a high of 93 degrees by the afternoon and then 92 on Thursday.

As we head into the weekend, expect nothing by 90s and a slight chance of rain that we could see on Friday evening.

Saturday and Sunday we’ll be in the mid to upper 90s, but of course during the afternoon hours we could feel like we’re in the low hundreds with that heat index.

Overnight Sunday ,expect some chances of rain to move into our area along with a slight cold front that could bring us into the upper 70s.

Many students and teachers will start their spring break nice and breezy.
