LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) -Scattered numerous showers will be possible across portions of South Texas today. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall and flooding could be possible in low lying areas. Rain chances are expected this afternoon and increasing in the evening and overnight. Regarding the temperature, today will be a hot and extremely humid day, expected to reach a high of 104 feeling like 111.Rain and thunderstorm chances will linger tonight, expected to reach a low of 78 with breezy conditions. Moisture will remain elevated through the weekend, and scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms remain on the forecast. Due to the rainfall potential and increased cloud cover, highs on Saturday through Monday will give us a break from the 100s, and generally ranging from the mid-80s to the mid-90s.Have a great weekend and stay weather aware.
