Roger Uvalle's first job in the news industry was as a video editor for KVUE's morning newscasts, the ABC affiliate in Austin.
Roger has worked for KGNS as a production assistant, operating studio cameras, creating graphics, and doing audioboard work. He then transferred to the news department as a video editor for about a year and then as the producer for KGNS News at Noon and KGNS News at Six.
He was also a producer and digital content producer at KRDO Newschannel 13 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
These experiences made him understand the ins and outs of news broadcasting, what it means to work as a team, and the ethics journalists have to uphold in order to earn and keep the community’s trust.
When Roger's not producing, he likes to read books, watch films, take photos, and do some writing. If you have any story ideas or just want to say hi, drop him an e-mail.
