Accident reported on Highway 359

A motor vehicle accident is causing traffic delays on Highway 359.
According to the Laredo Police Department, the accident happened at the 4400 block of Highway 359 at around 1 p.m.
As a result, all traffic traveling eastbound is being redirected southbound on Mauro Sandoval Dr. for access to Jamie Zapata.
Drivers are being urged to avoid the area or expect long delays.
