New app allows people to apply for a job through their phone

An app that is making rounds locally and globally is being considered a mix of Snapchat and LinkedIn.

The app is called Bizclip and its mixing the world of social media into the workforce by giving those seeking a job the chance to pitch their abilities beyond a resume and in video form.

Bizclip is not only a great resource for those looking for jobs but also an opportunity to connect businesses to consumers through virtual interaction.

Bizclip CEO and founder Celina Maniece is also a director of employer relations at TAMIU and says she decided to create the app because she saw a need for the workforce to transition into the modern age.
