LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - A group of local youngsters got a special lesson on proper bicycle usage and safety from Border Patrol agents.
On Wednesday, July 11th the Laredo Sector Border Community Liaison Program took part in an educational cycling seminar at the Marcos Aranda Recreation and Boxing Gym.
Agents spoke to the kids on how to properly ride a bike and how to keep up with bike maintenance.
Kids also got to learn proper bicycle safety tips to obey when they are out on the streets or at the park.
Border Patrol agents also answered questions from the kids and discussed the various ways of how they keep our border safe.
Laredo Sector Acting Chief Patrol Agent Jason D. Owens says the Laredo Sector Border Patrol is honored to take part in events like these that allows agents to communicate with local youth.
