Border Patrol agent accused of killing four people gets new court date

LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - The Border Patrol agent accused of being Laredo's first serial killer has a new court date.

Juan David Ortiz was originally set to go before a judge in the 406th District Court on August fifth; however, now it's been pushed back to October 8th.

Ortiz is charged with capital murder for the deaths of four victims last year.
Ortiz has pled not guilty to the charges against him.
