Border Patrol and the Webb County Sheriff’s office discovered nearly two dozen undocumented immigrants living in a stash house in central Laredo.

According to Border Patrol, the incident happened on June 27th at around 10 p.m. when agents got a call about suspicious activity going on at a home on Laredo Street.

When agents arrived at the home, they found 23 illegal immigrants inside the house.

Laredo Sector Acting Deputy Chief Patrol Agent Anthony S. Good says, “This enforcement action demonstrates the United States Border Patrol's commitment to work with the Webb County Sheriff’s Office and other law enforcement partners to disrupt illicit activity, deny criminal organizations the ability to operate, and protect human life.”

All of the immigrants were determined to be in good health and were processed accordingly.
