Border Patrol agents find over 10 pounds of cocaine on charter bus

LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - Over $300,000 worth of illegal narcotics are off the streets thanks to the work of Border Patrol agents.

According to Border Patrol, events transpired on February 16th when agents encountered a bus at the I-35 checkpoint.

While agents were conducting immigration inspections on the bus, a K-9 alerted to the presence of illegal narcotics inside a blue suitcase.

When agents searched the bag, they found four bundles of alleged cocaine.

The cocaine weighed over 10 pounds and had an estimated street value of $338,912.

Border Patrol seized the cocaine and the drugs were turned over to the DEA.

No one was arrested or charged in this case.
