LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - Border Patrol agents with the Laredo Sector rescued a 20-year-old Mexican National who was dire need of medical treatment.
According to Border Patrol, on June 21st, agents received a call from a man who had been lost for days without food or water.
Agents along with the Zapata County Sheriff’s Office were able to search for the man and found him in the brush south of Rio Bravo.
Laredo Sector Acting Deputy Chief Patrol Agent Anthony S. Good says“Our agents are not only trained and equipped to assist local law enforcement agencies, but committed to providing medical assistance to those in need. This incident not only highlights the readiness of Laredo Sector personnel to enforce the law, but to ensure those who need help will receive it.”
A Border Patrol Emergency Medical Technician provided examined the man, provided first aid and he was processed accordingly.
