LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - Border Patrol agents seized nearly a half a million dollars worth of marijuana on Monday morning.
The incident happened at around 8:30 a.m. when agents were patrolling near the riverbanks in west Laredo and found eight bundles wrapped in plastic bags.
The marijuana weighed approximately 610 pounds and had an estimated street value of $488,488.
The marijuana was seized and turned over to the DEA.
