Update: Over three-dozen people rescued from alleged stash house
Over three-dozen illegal immigrants are rescued from an alleged stash house in central Laredo.
The discovery was made on Thursday, February 20th when Laredo Police and Border Patrol agents were called out to a home on Springfield and Fremont.
According to Border Patrol, police received a call from a woman saying that she was being held against her will inside a home along with a large group of people.
Police officers searched the home and found a total of 37 individuals living inside.
All were found to be illegally present in the United States and from the countries of Mexico and Guatemala.
The individuals were taken into Border Patrol custody and processed accordingly.
