Border Patrol arrests five Bangladeshi Nationals

Border Patrol agents of the Laredo Sector apprehended five undocumented immigrants believed to be from Bangladesh.

According to Border Patrol, the incident happened on the Fourth of July when agents spotted five individuals crossing the Rio Grande River.

Agents were able to apprehend all five individuals who were determined to be from Bangladesh.

The Laredo Sector Border Patrol continues to have the highest number of arrests of Bangladeshi Nationals when compared to other Border Patrol sectors.

Currently, the Laredo Sector has arrested about 367 Bangladeshi Nationals since the start of the 2018 fiscal year.
